Disney California Adventure Park

Disney California Adventure Park is also known as California Adventure, or DCA. It is located at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. The Walt Disney Company’s Parks, Experiences and Products division owns and operates it.

The park covers 72 acres (29 ha). It is themed after the history of California. This theme celebrates the state’s adventure through the use of several Disney, Pixar, and Marvel Studios properties.

It was originally named Disney’s California Adventure Park. The park opened February 8, 2001.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a 1,800-acre (730 ha), zoo located in San Pasqual Valley, California. It is the most visited tourist attraction in San Diego County. It houses an extensive collection of endangered and wild animals, including those from Africa, Asia, Europe, North, South America, Australia, and Europe.

The park is home to the world’s largest collection of hoofed mammals. It is located in a semiarid environment. One of the most distinctive features of the park is the Africa Tram which takes you to the vast African exhibits. These enclosures are free to roam and house animals such as rhinoceros, giraffes (buffalo), cranes, buffalo, and antelopes. It is also known for its California condor breeding programme.

The park is visited annually by 2,000,000 people. It houses approximately 400 species of animals and 3,500 species of plants.

Six Flags Magic Mountain

Six Flags Magic Mountain is an amusement park covering 262 acres in Valencia, California. It is 35 miles northwest from downtown Los Angeles.

It was developed by the Newhall Land and Farming Company and Sea World Inc. and opened its doors on May 29, 1971.

Safari West

Safari West (400 acres, 160 ha) is a private wildlife reserve that Nancy Lang and Peter Lang own and operate. It is located 12 miles north from the city of Santa Rosa in Sonoma County.

The park’s selection of wildlife includes species that are native to Africa. These include giraffes and rhinoceros, cape bison, cape buffalo, watusi cows, antelopes, cheetahs and zebras as well as hyenas and many species of birds.

Through exchanges with other parks and zoos, the park works to preserve the genetic diversity of the species it supports through research, education, conservation, breeding, and conservation programs. It also houses species that have been extinct in nature.

Balboa Fun Zone

The Balboa Fun Zone, a family-friendly destination, is located in Newport Beach, Orange County. For an estimated seven million visitors annually to Newport Beach, the Balboa Fun Zone offers an ocean- and harbor experience.

Al Anderson built the Fun Zone in 1936. It featured a small beach and a 45-foot Ferris Wheel. Jordan Wank restored the area and reopened it in 1986. Doo & Sons purchased the Balboa Fun Zone in 1988.

However, they were unable to obtain zoning permits for the development of the property as a mixed use retail/housing area. The property sat vacant for many years, and the area fell into decline.

USS Midway Museum

The Cossatot river is a canyon that’s rugged and rocky and has Class IV and V whitewater rapids. It is ideal for kayakers and canoeists. Parasailing and scuba divers can also enjoy the views from our 600,000-acre lakes.

Wakeboarders have access to 600,000 acres of lakes throughout the state.
