The southern third of Key Biscayne is home to Bill Baggs Cape State Park Florida and Recreation Area.

The park has over a mile of Atlantic shoreline, a friendly lighthouse, and a great hiking trail. The park is divided into separate sections and is easy to reach from Miami.

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is a natural paradise on the southern tip of Key Biscayne. The park has beautiful beaches and a historic lighthouse that was built in 1825.

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is open daily from 8am until sunset. Admission to the park is $8 per vehicle. Visitors can tour the Cape Florida Lighthouse at certain times.

The tours are free and last about thirty minutes. The park also features a visitor center, playground, and youth campground. For those with children, Bill Bagg.

Bill Baggs Beach is one of the most popular beaches in the country. It has more than a mile of natural beach. The beach is not lifeguarded, but wheelchairs are available for rent.
