Cyrus Mistry (Indian-born Irish businessman and former Chairman of Indian conglomerate Tata Sons) died after his car


Mistry served five years as chairman, Tata Sons, which was the holding company for the Tata-to-software Tata conglomerate


Mistry's sudden death shocked business and political leaders alike. Narendra Modi (the prime minister) said that Mistry was an aspiring business leader

Tata Consultancy Services was the majority owner of Tata Sons' stake in TCS. It released a statement saying that Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said its former chairman


"a warm, friendly, and congenial individual who built a strong relation with the TCS Family during his time at the company."


Mistry graduated from London's Imperial College with a degree in civil engineering. He also studied management at the London Business School.
