New Jersey is one of the worst hit states in the country when it comes  to Covid-19. As of Friday, the Garden State had over 200,000 confirmed  cases of the illness. 

The New Jersey Department of Health is working with local and federal  agencies to try to speed up the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.  

The infection rates of COVID-19 in New Jersey continue to grow. In fact,  the state has been ranked eighth for coronavirus deaths per capita in  the nation. 

Despite these protective measures, the rate of transmission was still above one. This means the outbreak is growing
