South Beach is known for its beautiful beaches and glitzy nightlife.

The area was originally a coconut growing district in the 1870s, but was developed in the early twentieth century by the Lum brothers.

The temperature ranges between 32 degrees Fahrenheit and 86°F. The windy part of the year is typically October 1 to May 24.

There’s the Bass Museum, which opened in 1964. John Bass’ private collection was the inspiration for the museum.

While you’re in South Beach, make sure to check out its many local boutiques. The city is home to one of the most famous open-air malls in the country, Lincoln Road.
