US warned European allies this summer that Nord Stream pipelines could be attacked

Two people familiar to intelligence and the warnings stated that the US warned European allies (including Germany) over the summer about threats to the Nord Stream 1 & 2 pipelines.


These warnings were informed by US intelligence assessments. But they were vague. People said that it wasn't clear from the warnings when or who might be responsible.
