Mond showed positive qualities at Texas A&M. It was thought that he might someday take over Kirk Cousins' place.

The Vikings made changes to their quarterback room on Tuesday. Ian Rapoport, NFL Network insider, reported that Minnesota has cut Sean Mannion.

His COVID-19 test was positive during training camp, which set back his development. The Vikings had to sign Mannion as Kirk Cousins’ backup before the beginning of the season.

After a strong preseason, Davis Webb was cut (60-of-81) for 458 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions.
